How does flower delivery work?
Sending flowers by courier is the perfect way to quickly and conveniently give a beautiful gift to a loved one. Flowers are sent for birthdays, wedding anniversaries, for the birth of a child, promotions, etc. But the best thing is to send flowers “just like that”, when the recipient least expects it. Just write on the card: “Have a nice week” or “I love you!” Positive emotion is guaranteed!
What if the courier comes and the recipient is not at home?
We are asked this very often. The rule is that we call the recipient before the delivery. If we get in touch with the recipient of the flowers, we will agree on when and where the courier will come. It is absolutely mandatory for home addresses. Sending to work is somewhat easier, because you can usually leave the flowers to the recipient even if he is present at the moment.
But I want it to be a surprise!
There are so and so with surprises. When we call the recipient, we never say who is sending what. So, it’s a surprise anyway. Sometimes our clients are asking not to call. Of course, we can also do that, but then the sender bears the risks. If the recipient is not at home (e.g. just went out with the dog), does not hear the doorbell (e.g. is currently in the shower), the doorbell/phone lock does not work, etc., the courier simply leaves and the sender has to pay for a new courier service. In the worst case, we won’t be able to send on the same day
So, it always makes more sense to let us call the recipient. There are many cases where the she or he is not even in Tallinn that day and we have to arrange delivery for another day.
