Weddings are the most memorable and significant events in a couple’s life. In recent years, the organization of large wedding celebrations in castles, manors, villas, and other grand venues has gained momentum in Estonia, which definitely requires the skilled hands of a florist to make the wedding an unforgettable event. Floral decorations are also indispensable for church ceremonies, where beautiful arrangements enhance the church’s interior, making it festive and grand.
What Floral Arrangements to Order?
If the budget is modest, couples often limit themselves to a package: bridal bouquet, groom’s boutonniere, car decoration, and some table arrangements. This can also include bouquets or bracelets for bridesmaids, a tossing bouquet, a bridal crown for throwing, and decorations for champagne glasses. They can be ordered simply from our work samples or by coming to us with your pictures.
For larger decoration works, it may be necessary to visit the registration and reception venue with the florist to discuss your visions and wishes. Often, the couple can bring photos of the reception venue, and based on that, we can offer suggestions. We have already installed floral decorations in many popular venues and churches in Estonia. If necessary, we also travel to the more remote corners of Estonia.
A very popular service is arranging flowers gifted by guests. If there is at least 1.5-2 hours between the congratulations and the start of the party, we can collect the flowers given to the couple, transport them to the venue, sort them, and place them in vases. For this, we also rent various sizes of glass vases. In such a solution, it is beneficial if guests are informed in advance about the couple’s flower preferences. For example, only red or white roses or only white flowers, etc. This way, the overall impression of the space will be more uniform and beautiful.
In addition to vases, we also offer rentals of tulle fabric, floral stands, candle holders, etc. If desired, we can transport stands from one location to another (e.g., from the church to the reception venue).
When is the Right Time to Order Wedding Flowers?
The sooner, the better. There are not many summer weekends, and they fill up quickly. We can create several bridal bouquets and car decorations in a day, but generally, we do not take on larger decoration works more than once on the same day. If you only want to order a bridal bouquet, you should place the order at least 1 week in advance, as we will definitely have time to order the flowers you want; otherwise, our selection will be limited to the flowers available at that time.
What Flowers to Prefer?
Certainly, the ones you like the most. However, you should consider the following: Flowers are seasonal goods, so the price of the same flower can vary greatly throughout the year, and some flowers may not be available at certain times. Therefore, it’s worth checking first if your favorite flowers are available on your wedding day and at what price. Roses and lilies are sold year-round, making them the most reliable choices. However, the tulip season begins in stores as early as December and lasts until the end of June.
When it comes to roses, it is important to note that not all rose varieties are imported to Estonia (mainly due to their high cost), so a bouquet found on some foreign website may be either very expensive or entirely impractical here. But you can always ask.
